NOTE: If you want to check the free live masterclass ‘The Relaxed Dancer’s Roadmap: 4-steps to Stop Overthinking in Tangoyou can do it here.

As I promised you, I started attending online tango courses, and this is my review on one of them, in case you are interested.

I did that for a few reasons:

First, I wanted to discover more ways to deepen the connection with my partners. After all, this is one of the main reasons I dance tango, so I look everywhere for ways to do it better. Another topic I am very interested in is understanding how to adapt better to different partners and embrace styles. This is something I need to deal with often in the milongas. I know that the best leaders and followers are great in adapting, and I want to develop my dance toward that direction. I believe that I am already pretty good at adapting, but it seems there’s much more I can do. Then, I wanted to find ways to express myself a bit more creatively on the dance floor. Because it’s more fun to be able to play with the music in different ways.
Finally I wanted to polish the way I move. A bit of extra elegance here and there didn’t hurt anyone. I know that both followers and leaders that look good from outside tend to get more dances.
And, yes, I´ll admit that I often assumed that because I don’t look or felt too bad, I didn’t need to pay attention to my posture or study more about it.

For all those reasons, and more, I decided to take the course.

Also, I wanted to help you understand what to expect from each course that I watched.

Today, I´ll share with you my experience with The Tango Confidence Online Course.

Pablo and Anne, the instructors, will only allow access to the course in a few days and the registrations will only last for a few days more. The reason is that they will be hosting live Q&A sessions for all the online students, so everyone needs to be on the same page.

If my review catches your interest, the next step will be to join their upcoming free live masterclass: The Relaxed Dancer’s Roadmap: 4-steps to Stop Overthinking in Tango. I’ll explain about it at the end.

Before that, let me share with you about:

My experience with The Tango Confidence Online Course:

The course is packed with in-depth lessons that cover improving technique and posture, deepening connection with partners, expanding movement vocabulary, refining musicality, adaptability, building confidence, adding personal style and practical applications to help bring everything you learn to the dance floor, and more.

The class is taught by Pablo and Anne, who have over 28 years of tango teaching experience between them. I found their teaching style accessible, and the language easy to understand. English is my second language, so it’s hard for me when the instructors use big words. I enjoyed that the course doesn’t just talk about stuff—it shows you how to use them on the dance floor with clear, practical demonstrations and exercises. They provide valuable insight into how to move together with confidence.

One of the standout features of the Tango Confidence Online Course is its focus on making my life easy.

First, I could download the transcripts of each class so I didn’t have to take notes.

Second, most classes come with a downloadable checklist with the most important points. This way I could review fast the information of classes I already watched without having to re-watch each video.

At the end of each module there was a short quiz for me to check my understanding.

I watched the course before the official launch, so I didn’t have the chance to participate in the live Q&A sessions that you will have access to for further clarification and deeper exploration of topics, but Pablo and Anne gave me access to recorded Q&A sessions from last year, which were indeed full of clarifications and interesting questions.

There was one more thing that truly stood out for me: Each person learns differently. Some of us learn better by listening, some by watching and some by doing. Pablo and Anne catered to all those learning styles.

In terms of value, this course truly delivered. It included eight comprehensive modules, and several bonuses like live Q&A sessions and creativity training

If you want to dance with more confidence and maybe don´t know Anne and Pablo (the instructors) yet, I would recommend you to attend their online masterclass ‘The Relaxed Dancer’s Roadmap: 4-steps to Stop Overthinking in Tango’ in a few days. Just book your spot and see for yourself.

P.S. During the masterclass they’ll share the link to the course. They’ll share it also with those that didn’t manage to join.
